Engineering design and CAD files for the shop

Turn an idea, a sample or a paper print into a CAD file that can be machined in this shop.

Engineering design and CAD files for the shop

Design here is tied to the shop. We prepare a CAD file that can be run on our machines — not a clean model that cannot be held on the table.

We work from a print, a photo or a sample. When needed we measure the sample and redraw it before any cut. That is the base of reverse engineering.

The file is locked with tolerance and inspection points so the same specification can be reordered later.

What this service includes

01

Redraw

Turn the sample or paper into a model that can be machined.

02

Machinability

Workholding and tooling notes before metal is cut.

03

Into the shop

The file goes straight to CNC or wire cut.

04

Keep the spec

The same file is reused on the next order.

From a print or sample to delivery

  1. 01 Read the requirement

We take the drawing or sample, lock the alloy, tolerance and inspection points before any cut.

  2. 02 Set the process path

Workholding, tooling and operation order are chosen to protect accuracy and keep cycle time honest.

  3. 03 Inspect and deliver

Critical dimensions and finish are checked, then the mold or part ships ready to install.

Dimensional inspection before delivery

  • Print match

We read the print against the part and confirm cavities are clean before pack-out.

  • Critical size

Calibrated tools check the critical dimensions and broken edges.

  • Order record

When a report is requested, measurements travel with the order number.
